I would highly recommend Star P.R.E.P to other young adults. Star P.R.E.P is a very interactive and personal program that excels in personal and professional development. Being a person interested in entrepreneurship, I have been through different programs that specialize in similar categories. However, I cannot say that I have received any experience similar to Star P.R.E.P. Star P.R.E.P focuses on what you need improvement in, preforms checkups on your progress, works on keeping you accountable, and encourages you to do the same for your peers. I have learned many life skills that I execute daily.

One of my biggest professional takeaways from the program is a 30 second introduction. As we all know first impressions are crucial to the foundation of relationships, especially professional ones. For me, a 30 second introduction decreases the anxiety leading up to that first conversation and occurring during the conversation because I am trying to improvise on what to say.

One of my biggest personal takeaways, would be proper relationship maintenance. A key to maintaining relationships is to just simply check up on people Although someone could look at this a say it is so simple, as simple as it is, many people overlook it. I could go on and on talking about what I have took from the program, but the recognition cannot go to the program without acknowledging the mastermind behind it all.

Ms. Katrina is not only an outstanding program director, but her character is also top tier. To me, character is as important as a program because if that person is not inviting and illustrates that they want you in their program for their own personal gain then that leaves the participant little motivation to want to be involved in the program. However, I never got that from Ms. Katrina. Ms. Katrina is one of the most genuine people I know. She is very dependable, open-minded and enthusiastic. Whenever I needed a favor or advice, I could and still can depend on her. She is enthusiastic about my passions just as her own and never hesitates to provide me information this can assist me in striving. I can truly say that she genuinely cares about my goals just as I do. I can add that she has played part in helping me achieve some and helping me stay on track with achieving the others. I am beyond appreciative to have been introduced to Ms. Katrina and blessed by her bubbly personality, that will light up any room she steps foot in. It is my great pleasure to recommend Ms. Katrina for this position!"
